Liquid drape chirimen crepe with millions of shooting stars. Pastel, slightly grayish purple background is consistent throughout; the density of the showers varies and creates a motion and depth to this simple yet dynamic print. The little meteors are pale pink and cream. Very pebbly-textured chirimen crepe is lightweight, supple and flowy, with lots of drape, a dry hand and no shine. The back is solid cream; the print barely comes through. This vintage kimono silk was formerly part of a kimono and is in perfect condition. Japan.
